Today's book review is from the YA (Young Adult) genre.  It is new, and gaining attention quickly.  This very original plot revolves aroung two teenagers in the 1996 who are able to log on to facebook (which has not yet been invented!).  They can see their futures, and figure out quickly how to alter things in their daily lives to change their outcomes in the future.  Recommended for ages 12 and up.

The kids and I just finished reading Wonderstruck, by Brian Selznick, which I posted a few days ago.  You should not miss this book!!  Selznick is a genius..the plot and characters are fantastic, and his drawing skills are unbelievable.  There are two plots (one told through pictures and one told with words) that come together beautifully in the end.  Another great aspect of this book is that it can be read (or read to) children ages 6-16.  I predict this will win awards.

Sunday morning breakfast...mmm!  I love to make big breakfasts on the weekend.  Today I tried a new recipe that I found on Pinterest; Buttermilk Blueberry Breakfast Cake.  The kids loved it.  My son took a bite and said, "This is what I call a stairway to heaven!".
