I was so excited when Jeffrey Eugenides' latest book came out because I loved Middlesex and The Virgin Suicides. Although The Marriage Plot was not quite as good, and was slow to get started, I did like it. My favorite part was the Providence setting (the story begins with all of the main characters graduating from Brown). Some of the dialogue is hilarious.
Have you been hearing about kale chips? I had, so when I got a bunch of kale in my weekly "veggie box" from the Y (a farm share program I joined recently), I decided to try them. Online I found a recipe that said to wash, dry, dice, and mix with olive oil and sea salt. I spread it on a cookie sheet and baked for about 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Not bad!
