I know many of you out there have read this, but for those of you who have not-get your hands on a copy!  Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese.  The writing is superb, the plot is completely original and you will fall in love with several of the characters immediately.  You will laugh, you will cry...ok, I'm starting to sound like a commercial.  Just read it!

This recipe is so easy and delicious, you won't believe it.  My friend Mary Ellen showed me what she was making her kids and I came home and made it too.  It takes 15 minutes!  For easy FRIED RAVIOLI just open bag of frozen ravioli, dip them in buttermilk, then breadcrumbs and fry them! I gave each kid a dish of marinara sauce for dipping and they were in heaven.  I am thinking of getting some really good Venda ravioli (porcini or lobster) and serving these as an appetizer to guests we have coming for dinner this weekend.
