Good read and a Providence restaurant review!

The Butterfly Cabinet by Bernie McGill is somber and at times chilling.  The plot alternates between an Irish castle in 1892 and a nursing home in 1968.  Secrets are revealed, tortured souls are bared, and you will get caught up in it all.

A friend and I just tried Abyssinia, an Ethiopian restaurant on Wickendon St. in Providence.  It was delicious and reasonable (our bill came to $32)!  I don't usually include restaurant recommendations, but the food was so yummy, and I was so glad to see a new ethnic choice on the restaurant scene here in 'lil Rhody!  For those of you who don't know what Ethiopian food is, I have included a photo.  But beware-the food is usually shared, and you use your fingers.  I loved it!
